Princess Beatrice shocks World Fashion Police on her wedding
The latest Royal wedding!
Did you know that Britain's Princess Beatrice got married on 17th of July, 2020?
It's okay if you didn't, we're here to give you all the fashion details!😉
So the Princess who is legendary for falling into the 'worst dressed' royal category according to Fashion police all over the world, let tradition guide her choices for her big day, shocking world fashion police to silence, for once. 😁
Beatrice took to heart the tradition of something new and something borrowed by revamping her grandmother's (Queen Elizabeth) vintage dress originally designed by Norman Hartnell in 1962, and has been sported on the Queen twice.
The blushing bride 'Upgraded' the dress by adding beaded, poofy organza sleeves. She also 'modernized' the hemline, making it smoother and straight. She sure followed the classically simple but still regal wedding dress trend set by recent royals Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle and her sister Princess Eugenie.
Should she have maintained the poofy hemline instead of sleeves?
Harpers Bazaar believe the Princess' remodeling idea was a tribute to her mother, Sarah Ferguson's also beaded and poofy sleeved wedding dress.
Beatrice also chose to wear The Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara, worn by her grandmother when the queen herself got married to Prince Philip in 1947.
Beatrice, 31, and Edoardo, 37, had been due to tie the knot at London's St James's Palace on May 29, but they put their plans on hold because of the coronavirus pandemic.
No rescheduled date was given, instead the couple surprised the world by getting married in a private ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor.
“The small ceremony was attended by the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh (Prince Philip) and close family. The wedding took place in accordance with all relevant government guidelines regarding Covid-19." States the Royal family representative.
Yeah, in other words, no vex if you weren't invited. 😂
The Corona Virus pandemic has really affected our way of life and weddings are not left out, but on a lighter note, this is probably the best time to get married don't you think?
No need for extravagant party, asoebi, bridal train and all the extras that come with a wedding.
Your guest list is automatically trimmed and you'll be able to focus more on the marriage than the festivities of a day right?

Also, how would you rate Princess Beatrice' wedding dress on a scale of 1-10?

Well, take that, fashion police! Lol.
Wishing the happy couple a blissful marriage all the way from Nigeria 😁
See you soon.
